Sharing feedback with coworkers can be tough. Especially if it’s not all good news.

A solution? Use the feedback model to put together and share feedback about specific situations — without judgment.

To use this method, you begin by considering a situation at work, and then describing it. Next, move on to the 'Behavior' column where you describe your coworker’s behavior. Make sure not to add your opinions about the situation, stick to the facts. Then, explain how the impact of their behavior affected you.

This approach might help your coworker understand where you’re coming from, without feeling judged.
